Weekly Report #36 Late Spring Festival Record

zhoubao36

Actually, I should have recorded my time at home during the New Year, but I kept forgetting, haha. At home, I mostly read and rested, not doing much. However, unlike previous years, this time was the first time I returned home after buying a camera.

In the past, I didn't really want to go out during the Spring Festival. The weather was cold, and most of my familiar friends went back to their hometowns for the New Year (I didn't have to go back to the countryside; I stayed in the city). Besides looking for strangers to play badminton with, there didn't seem to be much to do.

But this year, after buying a camera, I felt a strong urge to go out for the first time as a self-proclaimed landscape photographer. So, during the first two days at home, I got up every day around 6 AM to go hiking.

On the first morning, I missed the sunrise, but the weather was decent, and I took a few photos of West Lake Mountain.

On the second morning, I continued hiking and surprisingly saw the sea of clouds for the first time! Although this mountain is just over 200 meters high, I could truly feel the flow of the sea of clouds, to the point where a friend thought I had taken the photos with a drone.

While coming down and editing photos, a line from "Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng" suddenly struck me: "Like a galloping horse on the road, seeking scenery on the lofty A." Upon reflection, it was quite fitting for a landscape enthusiast.

Record of the Spring Festival Gala#

The performance by the Manzai brothers was fantastic.

I watched the Manzai brothers' performance many times in a row; it was so engaging. With Hunan dialect and absurd humor, their stand-up shows often simulate certain scenarios, like renting a house, taking a taxi, or dining at a restaurant.

These scenarios always incorporate some satire about reality. The final performance was a simulation of a zombie drama, and one line, "Don't all hotels have cameras now?" was both funny and hit close to home. Even more hilarious was a short segment at the end where the two recounted all the simulated scenarios from their performances, "You know I've been next to you while you were doing Manzai, right?" Haha, it was so interesting!
